Laughter Filled Wedding Day On Kaua’i
Billie Ann is a Kaua’i born and raised girl and the two of them actually met in Colorado in college, where they both live now. Their love story is the basis of any best-friend to lover trope. Claiming to not being attracted to each other whatsoever when they first met, they became the best of friends. It was only when Billie Ann came back to Kaua’i over a school break where they both knew that they were meant to be together and facetimed every day over that Christmas break. They started dating as soon as she got back to Colorado and the rest is history. Their wedding on Kaua’i was full of love and laughter as the two families came together to celebrate their young love.
These two got ready the traditional way, no first look, and they were separated by a few miles as they were preparing. The anticipation continued to build as they were both surrounded by their families.
Okay, now the ceremony. This ceremony was so so cute!! When Billie Ann walked in, Stephen couldn’t help but tear up, it was so sweet. After that, the both of them had nothing but smiles all the way up to the vows. Now, for a little context, Billie Ann is the eldest of six girls, and she is also known as the toughest. So when her voice started to crack as she proclaimed her love for Stephen, there wasn’t a dry eye in the room!
During July, Kaua’i had strict restrictions regarding group size. So, these two just invited their closest friends and families to their reception. It took place in the house where Billie Ann spent most of her time as a child! While it was a very intimate setting, these families knew how to party! There was so much dancing, drinking, and laughing. Above anything else, this was a fun celebration.
